About previous camps:
Biological scientific research camps are organized by Students of Biology of Slovenia for many years now. On these camps we supplement our theoretical knowledge, acquired on the university, with fieldwork. For the participants on the camp, colleagues in our field of expertise and for everybody that is interested in biology, the camp is an excellent opportunity for a ten day long exchange of knowledge and experience. Besides that, there is always enough time for social life, which is often neglected during the rest of the year.

The results acquired on the camps are regularly published in expert and popular literature. Besides that, results are presented on expert meetings and lectures and are therefore available to the broader expert public at home and abroad. These results are directly useful and used as a material for making an inventory of fauna and flora of Slovenia. The camp which is usually set in a small town raises the nature preservation consciousness and contributes to the introduction of biology between young people and non-expert public. Foreign students regularly take part on the camp (from Srbia, Croatia, Montenegro, Denmark, Netherlands, Ireland, Austria...) and they also get to know the beauty and diversity of our country.
